Zillow, Inc. has announced that Texas-based Corpus Christi Association of REALTORS® has joined the Zillow® Partnership Platform and will begin syndicating listings directly to the Zillow Real Estate Network.
Now, CCAR's listings will be seen by Zillow's 46 million monthly mobile and Web visitors, and automatically appear on the Zillow Real Estate Network, which includes Zillow.com®, Zillow Mobile, Yahoo!® Homes, Google™ Now and, soon, HGTV®'s FrontDoor™.
The Zillow Partnership Platform was developed to help Zillow, multiple listing services and brokers work together to display accurate, complete and timely listing information. CCAR's nearly 1,000 members are participating in the program, which feeds MLS data directly to Zillow as often as every 15 minutes, ensuring that listings are always current, correct and in sync with the MLS data.
"Zillow is a strong advocate for broker options for strategic listing syndication, and we're pleased to add Corpus Christi to the growing roster of MLSs that share that same philosophy," said Bob Bemis, Zillow vice president of partner relations. "The Zillow Partnership Platform strives to eliminate the confusion associated with stale data, lagging price changes and incorrect statuses."
"We are very concerned about accuracy and freshness of our listings as they are displayed on public websites. We applaud Zillow's efforts to increase accuracy by refreshing their database as often as every 15 minutes using the direct data feed from the Corpus Christi Association of Realtors," said Josh Ellington, director of MLS and technology at the Corpus Christi Association of Realtors.
