In an effort to further promote and highlight the developments in Iskandar Malaysia, iProperty.com Malaysia, the country’s No.1 property portal, and Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), recently launched an all exclusive coffee table book at the Iskarnival 2013.
Aptly named the Discover Iskandar Malaysia, the coffee table is set to provide discerning investors and property buyers who are keen in investing in the region with a platform to get all the relevant information that will serve in helping them make an informed decision.
Speaking at the launch, iProperty Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Shaun Di Gregorio said, “The Discover Iskandar Malaysia coffee table book focuses on every aspect that makes Iskandar Malaysia the ideal place where living, entertainment, environment and business seamlessly converge. Iskandar Malaysia has since become the world’s most talked about investment destination since the development began seven years ago. He added that the company was thrilled to have formed a partnership with IRDA to jointly promote Iskandar Malaysia to the world via the Discover Iskandar Malaysia campaign.
IRDA’s Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Datuk Ismail Ibrahim said that through belief, diligence and commitment, IRDA together with the Malaysian Government has managed to turn the region into an attractive investment proposition.
“Since 2006 to October this year, Iskandar Malaysia has recorded cumulative total investments of RM129.42 billion. Local investors have contributed RM84.61 billion (65%) to that committed investments, with the balance of RM44.81 billion coming from overseas.
Elaborating further, Di Gregorio added that the iProperty Group will be partnering with IRDA to also promote the region to the world via the Discover Iskandar Malaysia campaign which will entail promotional tours to Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore and in Malaysia.
“Aside from the Discover Iskandar Malaysia Coffee table book and tours, the iProperty Group will also be leveraging on its leading property websites to create a dedicated microsite that will provide discerning investors and property buyers with all the relevant information on the region,” added Di Gregorio.
He concluded saying that the Discover Iskandar Malaysia Coffee Table book will be available from January 2014 at all major bookstores , MPH, Kinokuniya, Borders, Popular and Times at RM 99 per copy.
