The UAE’s Propertyfinder Group has just announced the promotion of Renan M. Bourdeau to Deputy CEO. In his new role, Bourdeau will continue to focus on building the company’s strong operations and leading the international expansion plans.
Playing a key role in Propertyfinder since the early days of the business, Bourdeau has worked together with CEO and Founder, Michael Lahyani, to steer the Group through its current phase of development and growth.
“Renan’s leadership has been demonstrated many times as he worked side by side with me to guide Propertyfinder through both challenging times as well as some of the most exciting moments in our company’s history. I look forward to continuing this partnership in the next big chapter and beyond,” said Lahyani.
“Having worked together for over six years now, Michael and I understand each other’s strengths and areas of improvement. Our complementary skill sets enable us to make accurate and speedy business decisions and have been a cornerstone of the success we’ve enjoyed till date. In recent years, we’ve surrounded ourselves with an experienced senior management team across the organisation. This has freed up time that I would previously spend in managing day-to-day operations to take on a more active role in developing and successfully implementing our global strategy. I look forward to working in tandem with Michael as we complete the company’s restructuring in the first quarter and expand our footprint in emerging markets whilst enhancing shareholder value in the years ahead,” Bourdeau stated.
Prior to Propertyfinder, Renan worked in Miami, Moscow, Singapore, Nouakchott, Athens and France. He carries an exceptional track record of success and leadership from developing business units across Europe, Asia and Africa and executing key public relations and lobbying initiatives at senior Government and private sector levels. He also holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Masters in International Business from Kedge Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
