Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE), the leader in online real estate and operator of realtor.com®, the premier online destination for timely, accurate and comprehensive real estate information, has announced that Errol Samuelson has resigned effective immediately.
Curt Beardsley has been promoted to executive vice president of industry development, and will continue in his role in leading the company's longstanding relationship with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the more than 800 Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations it serves, including more than 1 million Realtors® across the country.
As part of his extended role, Beardsley is aided in his efforts by Bob Greenspan and Shelly Fowler, whom are both industry veterans with years of experience of partnering with the REALTOR community.
"I'm delighted to be giving Curt the recognition he so richly deserves," said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Move. "For the past seven years, Curt has served as the industry's voice at Move in a variety of successive roles from his deep roots with our Top Producer® Systems and ListHub™ industry products to his significant involvement in our data protection and accuracy initiatives. This is a formal acknowledgement of his day to day stewardship of the industry relationships that are central to our success."
Last July, in an unprecedented vote of affirmation, NAR board members from around the country approved significant additional data resources for publication on realtor.com®, including new homes and rentals content. The move further strengthened the company's ability to deliver the most comprehensive real estate listing information for buyers and sellers.
