Building on the success of GoHome.com.hk's first “GoHome Serviced Apartment Awards 2012-13,” this year’s awards have further extended from its base in Hong Kong to recognize outstanding services provided by serviced apartment operators in Macau.
The awards presentation ceremony was held today with the honorable presence of Mr. Georg Chmiel, Director of iProperty Group; Mr. Buston Chu, Chairman of Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence and Mr. Philip Kung, Head of Business and Professional Service of InvestHK.
Ms. Catherine So, Regional General Manager of GoHome.com.hk said, “As a leading financial center and Asia’s global city, Hong Kong has, over the years, attracted numerous senior executives of multinational corporations to work in the city. A comfortable and quality home is important for expatriate as well as locals who enjoy quality lifestyle and the convenience of a fully furnished nest. Serving this rising demand, the serviced apartments market has grown tremendously in recent years, with a total of over 150 serviced apartments in the city to-date. We are excited to be hosting the second annual “GoHome Serviced Apartment Awards” to recognize outstanding services provided by leading industry players and are committed to assisting our consumers in selecting a home most suitable for them from amongst the wide array of choices.”
Ms. So continued, “Macau has, in recent years, been developing at high speed, in particular, in the tourism and gaming industries. A considerable number of businessmen from mainland China and overseas have come to invest and work in Macau, resulting in a rising demand for a comprehensive search platform for serviced apartments. Therefore, this year’s award has further extended to Macau for the first time in recognition of the remarkable services offered by serviced apartment operators in Macau. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners for the vote of confidence they’ve received and we are honored to be their preferred online partner.”
