Trulia has signed a direct data license with My Florida Regional MLS to provide brokers the option to directly syndicate their listings to Trulia. MFRMLS is one of the top five largest MLSs in the country, powering over 100,000 listings and serving over 36,000 subscribers. With this agreement, Brokers of MFRMLS will be have the option to market their listings directly on Trulia’s popular real estate marketplace helping their agents connect with over 35 million unique monthly visitors via its website and mobile apps.
“We believe in empowering our brokers with the tools to support their marketing choices and market their listings with up-to-date information,” said Merri Jo Cowen, Chief Executive Officer of MFRMLS. “The direct feed option increases the listing data refresh process for those brokers that choose to participate in the program and supports their ability to market listings on Trulia in near real-time to maximize exposure for sellers and optimize the volume and quality of leads.”
“Trulia is committed to partnering with MLS’s to facilitate their brokers’ marketing efforts,” said Alon Chaver, Trulia’s VP of Industry Services. “By entering into a direct license agreement, MFRMLS is ensuring the integrity of their brokers’ listings and creating transparency with Trulia. Brokers choosing to send their listings direct to Trulia no longer need to worry about having to update information and can focus on engaging consumers and supporting their agents in converting consumer inquiries into closed transactions.”
During the annual CMLS conference last October, Trulia announced Trulia Data Connect, a program that enables MLSs to sign direct data licenses with Trulia and support brokers’ efforts to market their listings and brands on Trulia. Through the Data Connect program, Trulia also provides MLSs and Brokers valuable reporting and customer support resources.
Trulia has entered agreements with some of the largest MLSs in the country, including ARMLS in March and now My Florida Regional MLS. The recent addition of industry veteran John Whitney as its Director of Business Development underscores Trulia’s commitment to provide an industry-friendly, comprehensive platform for real estate brokers and agents to build their businesses.
