MRIS has been named a finalist for Washington SmartCEO’s 2014 Voltage Awards. The Voltage Award program celebrates the ever-increasing role technology innovators and implementers play in the business community as drivers of the technology sector. MRIS was named a finalist in the mid-sized Technology Innovator category for developing new technologies that improve operational efficiencies.
“We are truly honored to be a finalist for this award and to be recognized for our ongoing commitment to the innovation of technology products for real estate professionals and their clients,” said David Charron, MRIS President and CEO. “This recognition celebrates our remarkable team as well as the MRIS customers that provide feedback that helps drive our continued advancement."
MRIS annually invests into technology improvements to enhance the core MLS systems and to develop new products to improve the productivity of over 46,000 real estate professionals throughout the Mid-Atlantic area. SmartCEO Voltage finalists are recognized for their creative vision, strong leadership and innovative solutions. The 2014 finalists collectively generate more then $360 million in annual revenue and employ over 1,635 individuals.
“It’s no secret that the evolution of technology is what drives business forward. These companies are pushing the limits of innovation — streamlining processes, finding efficiencies and discovering the next great product,” says Jaime Nespor, Regional President of SmartCEO Media. “Sharing their stories is a humbling experience as these companies are the catalysts for our region’s growth and prosperity.” As a part of the recognition, MRIS will be profiled in the May/June issue of SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at an awards ceremony on May 20, 2014 at the National Press Club.
