According to the latest traffic data from SimilarWeb, RumahDijual.com has emerged as the top property portal in Indonesia. In March, rumahdijual.com had 960,000 visits. This compares favourably with 790,000 to rumah.com and 780,000 to rumah123.com.
When looking at other key metrics, rumahdijual.com had a longer time on site and lower bounce rate than the other two. However, when looking at pages per visit, rumahdijual.com had less than the other two competitors.
Rumahdijual.com was launched in 2010, later than the other two players.
According to the internal Google Analytics data, currently RumahDijual.com receives more than 900,000 unique visitors, which is a 45% improvement compared to the same time period last year.
However, when Alexa traffic rankings are used, the situation reverses with rumah123 significantly ahead of rumah.com with rumahdijual.com in third place.
What the stats tell us is that the true leader in the Indonesian market place is unknown. Each player has metrics that they can claim leadership on. For a true comparison, each player should open their Google Analytics accounts and share the information.
Yohanes Aristianto, the founder of RumahDijual.com, said “Indonesia has a lot of potential which is still unrealized. Internet penetration, and the online culture, is still lagging behind compared to other neighboring countries. But competition in the property portal space is already fierce, with many foreign players entering the market recently.”
When looking at where traffic comes from, Aristianto continued “... RumahDijual.com grows organically, with users telling their friends to use the website. We have never advertised on AdWords, TV, radio or print. We have no sales or marketing team at all. Instead, we focus on user experience, providing value for the users. Everything grows organically thanks to that approach.”
