Zillow has announced the renewal of its exclusive advertising agreement with Yahoo Homes, which creates the Yahoo-Zillow Real Estate Network, the largest real estate network on the Web and the No. 1 Real Estate brand in all of the top 20 local markets in the United States.
Zillow and Yahoo Homes first announced their partnership intentions in July 2010, and finalised it by May 2011.
The Yahoo-Zillow Real Estate Network gives real estate agents and brokers the ability to magnify exposure for their listings and brand across Zillow and Yahoo Homes, and easily buy local advertisements through one source.
With this agreement, Zillow remains the provider of listings of homes for sale on Yahoo Homes. Additionally, Zillow powers real estate search for AOL Real Estate and HGTV’s Front Door.
On Zillow's blog, the company stated: "We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Yahoo Homes, which has added tremendous value to agents and brokerages who work with Zillow. Home sellers want to sell their homes quickly and for the best price. That means working with a qualified real estate professional and ensuring their property is exposed to the widest audience of home buyers. We are delighted to give sellers, agents, brokerages and MLSs across the country the opportunity to have their listings seen by the millions of potential home buyers who visit Zillow and Yahoo Homes."
