According to an article by the Financial Review, Australian agents are about to create an alternative property portal to real-estate.com.au.
A consortium of leading real estate networks and investors came together on Thursday to discuss the possible creation of a venture to compete with the site, which is owned by sharemarket-listed REA Group.
a member of the venture stated that they have already put together the paperwork, the site and the concept.
The consortium, linked to major real estate agency network Century 21, is working on forming an independent venture, in addition to amalgamating a number of existing property advertising website.
