In an article published today on Real Estate Business, Andrew Jennings identifies Belle Property, Century 21, Harcourts Group, IRENE (Independent Real Estate Network of Excellence), LJ Hooker, PRDnationwide, Raine&Horne, Ray White and RE/MAX as the companies who have come together to develop a new property portal, which is going to be lead by newly appointed CEO, Nick Christian, former co-founder of PriceFinder.
Christian confirmed that the new property portal will be 100 per cent owned and controlled by the real estate industry. The portal will be representative of a "vast majority of the industry" not just some of the major groups or networks, including independent agent representation as well.
