According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Australia’s Ray White Group is supporting the decision of a group of estate agents who have designated a media buyer to mediate their digital advertising for them.
It seems that the group, Real Estate Digital Marketing Services, with over 400 agency members (currently only in Victoria), was established mainly due to realestate.com.au’s recent price hikes.
Media agency Vizeum is to negotiate on the agents’ behalf with all digital property marketing groups, but specifically focusing on the soaring rates at realestate.com.au.
The fact that Ray White is supporting Real Estate Digital Marketing Services is significant, since the Queensland-headquartered company has approximately 635 franchises across Australia, and over 400 in New South Wales and Queensland, where REDMS has still not established its presence.
