easyProperty, the new online estate agent from easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and property entrepreneur Rob Ellice, has announced today its landlords’ properties can be marketed on the UK’s leading property portal, Rightmove.
The partnership will allow private rental properties, listed on easyProperty.com, to go live on the major search portals from September 15th. Landlords will be given the freedom to decide how long they want to market their properties on portals, to suit their budget and requirements, using easyProperty’s ‘pick and mix’ system. In the near future, landlords will also have access to enhanced portal services such as premium listings.
Robert Ellice, CEO of easyProperty, comments: “Over 95 per cent of UK property searches begin online, and Rightmove is the largest property portal site in the UK (and one of the top 10 busiest websites overall). This partnership is a crucial step for us, as it means we can provide our landlords and tenants the best service around. Offering great value on quality services relies on securing partnerships with blue chip providers – and we’ve been amazed with the interest easyProperty has received so early on.”
Rob continued: “This is about giving landlords and tenants a different way to let and rent – potentially saving them thousands of pounds too. What the online estate sector has lacked so far is a real power brand, trusted and understood by the market. That is exactly what easyProperty will deliver. And deals with key providers, like Rightmove, are crucial to achieving that.”
