Househappy.org has launched its iOS app which features a next generation search experience while taking full advantage of the larger screen sizes on the newly released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Househappy incorporates a unique, full-screen interface to display thumbnails of homes for sale, listing details and area maps. No other application displays homes more quickly.
The app demonstrates Househappy’s commitment to the “less is more” approach and to continuously improving the user's home search experience. Clear from visual noise, the site offers a unique experience that is unmatchable by other real estate portals. It’s a clean look, but more importantly Househappy promises no ads––ever.
The app is straight-forward and easy to use, from start to finish. The user profiles and social networking features provide a platform to facilitate communication and enhance the home-buying process. Once a property is selected, Househappy puts the agent and their contact information directly in front of the buyer.
“We designed an intuitive, photo-driven experience that is stripped of unnecessary and confusing visual noise,” says Kevin McCloskey, Founder and CEO of Househappy. “With the Househappy app, the user-friendly design makes it easier and faster for people to find what they’re looking for and focuses on what home buyers care about most––high quality visuals and direct contact with real estate agents.”
The company has secured over 1.5 million listings since launching in 2013, and now with their first release of Housheappy for iPhone and iPad, is ready to build out their unique monetization strategy while focusing on raising Series B funding.
