Zillow Digs, where homeowners find visual inspiration and understand the real cost of remodeling projects, has announced that users can now browse more than 2 million high-resolution home images and easily locate similar products and accessories that compare to those in their favorite photos – from an unlimited number of online retail stores. The feature is available on Web and is now optimized for iPhone® and iPad®, with easy-to-use functionality.
From granite countertops to bedding and light fixtures, product tags are assigned by accredited interior design experts who match items in Digs photos with similar ones available in retail stores today. Product tags rid consumers of "inspiration frustration" – what happens when they see an item they love, but don't know where to find it, and saves them time and energy when transforming their dream space into reality.
"Zillow Digs is an amazing resource for home inspiration where people can find design ideas that meet their style, budget, and, now, discover real options for recreating the looks they love," says Amy Bohutinsky, Zillow chief marketing officer. "Product tags add valuable information that turns inspiration dead-ends into actionable next steps, eliminating the frustration many homeowners experience when searching for the perfect home furnishings and accessories."
From the Zillow Digs cost estimator to product tags, homeowners can use the Zillow Digs app and desktop to both find design inspiration and make their dream room a reality. Additionally, consumers can now post questions directly to Zillow Digs interior design experts to learn more about specific items in a photo, or get advice on their next remodel project.
