realestate.com.au has announced its forthcoming Apple Watch app which will allow property hunters to be alerted to homes for sale in their area at a simple glance of their wrist. It also makes inspecting properties easier, via GPS directions and the ability to voice-record notes, which then syncs to a consumer’s realestate.com.au account. The realestate.com.au Apple Watch app will be available on 24 April 2015.
“Our product philosophy is to be on all devices that people use in their property search, to make their journey simple, efficient and stress free. Increasingly, that means on-the-go and wearable technology. Apple Watch delivers a whole new level of personalisation and our app has been developed to be intuitive, easy and fun to use.”
“We’ve also created an app that gives real estate agents a new way to effectively market their properties to audiences in the locality of their property. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities to capture the interest of potential buyers who ‘stumble across’ properties in their immediate area,” Mr Ruiz said.
The new Apple Watch app comes as realestate.com.au recently surpassed a combined four million downloads of its app for iPhone, iPad and Androidid, highlighting the popularity of its mobile experiences amongst property hunters.
Mr Ruiz said this latest product innovation from REA Group, realestate.com.au’s parent company, is another example of how the multinational advertising business is embracing new technologies to empower people throughout their property journey.
“We make large investments in technology to continually provide the best consumer experience and the best platform for our customers to connect with our valuable and engaged audience,” Mr Ruiz said.
