The MLS management application is an open, multi-level, collaborative, multi-channel platform that will offer maximum control over data sharing and peer-to-peer interaction for members. The system will also allow members to choose whom to follow, to express opinions, and to provide feedback using social networks, thus significantly enhancing the visibility of properties on sale and matching supply and demand more closely.
The FIMAA MLS is the first management application of a trade association to be included in the MLS AGGREGATOR project, which integrates sharing among multiple MLSs.
The ongoing search for new tools to improve the quality of service and the business opportunities offered by the real estate market will be strengthened with the creation of a LAB (Laboratory of Ideas) with a view to exploring, discussing, and testing new products to support the activity of real estate agents.
“This agreement is a very important achievement for us, not least because, through it, we will be able to share Casa.it’s digital expertise with members of an outstanding Italian Trade Association,” said Daniele Mancini, General Manager Europe of the REA Group and CEO of Casa.it. “It is a further step towards full cooperation among real estate agents, a phenomenon which has already taken off in other industrialized countries, and which has the potential to strongly boost the economy of the entire sector. Moreover, this agreement is a further step in Casa.it’s strategy to partner with and fully support real estate agents.”
Mancini concludes: “FIMAA understands that close cooperation with a specialized digital partner that is part of an international group will enable its members to embrace the digital sharing economy.”
“The development of the Italian real estate market largely relies on the Internet, on the integration of new technologies, and on content sharing,” says Valerio Angeletti, National President of FIMAA-Confcommercio. “Through this partnership with Casa.it, the real estate agents in the local FIMAA-Confcommercio branches can promote their real estate ads and use the additional services offered by the main Italian specialized portal to revamp their business and enhance the visibility of the agencies. Through the FIMAA MLS management application, part of the broader MLS AGGREGATOR project, the FIMAA-Confcommercio real estate agents will also enjoy the opportunity to strengthen cooperation among agencies and increase the supply of properties for customers and consumers, thus promoting transactions.”
