Kian Moini, co-founder and Managing Director of Lamudi said “This acquisition brings together two players in this market to improve the value and experience for house-hunters, real estate agents, and developers. We are committed to investing in building the number one, go-to online property platform in Indonesia, making people happy that we are investing in their country.”
This acquisition helps Lamudi close the gap with the other players in the market and the traffic from PropertyKita will be redirected to the Lamudi Indonesia site.
However, there is still a large gap between Lamudi/PropertyKita and the top 4 - Rumahdijual, Rumah, Rumah123 and Urbanindo.
The table below (courtesy of SimilarWeb) shows the relative positions of the main players in the market. While SimilarWeb only reports desktop visits, it is still a good tool for showing relative market positions.
Information from the Mitula Group shows that 59% of visits in May were from mobile devices, 32% were from desktops and 9% from tablets.
|Desktop Visits (000's)||Visit Duration (min)||Total Time on Site (000's)||Total Page Views (000's)|
|Lamudi + PropertyKita||180||1,165.0||867.6|
This is the second acquisition by Lamudi who recently acquired myproperty in the Philippines.
