realestate.com.au will implement IRE’s RegisterOnline property inspection booking system on rental property listings by property managers who use IRE, allowing prospective tenants to easily register for an inspection and be kept updated via email and/or SMS of changes to inspection times. The functionality will be rolled out in late 2015.
Commenting on the initiative, Henry Ruiz, Chief Digital Officer at REA Group, parent
company of realestate.com.au, said: “By working with IRE and integrating RegisterOnline into our rental property listings, we’re making it easier for property managers to update prospective tenants about a rental property and for prospective tenants to book inspections.
“As Australia’s leading property site, we’re all about making property simple, efficient and stress-free, and our agreement with IRE is a great example. As IRE’s RegisterOnline also integrates with 1Form, our online rental application site, prospective tenants looking for a property on realestate.com.au will be able to browse, book an inspection and apply for a rental property in a few easy steps.”
Commenting on the initiative, Andrew Reece, CEO at IRE said: “We’re really proud of RegisterOnline and the difference it has made for thousands of property managers and prospective tenants since launching in 2011. We’re delighted to work with realestate.com.au where the vast majority of Australians search for rental property and we know property managers and consumers new to the experience will love it.”
Paul Curtain, Managing Director of Place Real Estate said: “We’ve found IRE’s RegisterOnline functionality really useful. We’re really pleased that realestate.com.au and IRE are working together as it will mean our property managers will be able to keep in touch with a broader rental audience than ever before, and it will be easier for prospective tenants to book into our inspections.”
