iProperty.com Malaysia has launched, what it claims to be, "the industry’s first virtual 3D property showroom" called iProperty Goggles. It provides property buyers and investors an impressive immersive experience while offering developers a new platform to showcase their latest property developments.
iProperty Group’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Georg Chmiel said: “We are very excited to launch this innovative product that will change the way property showrooms are showcased with nothing more than a smartphone and a specially created virtual reality goggles. It’s the most interactive way for property developers to showcase their latest developments."
He added that the iProperty Goggles allows property developers to harness the power of multimedia devices and effectively paint a visually-rich and appealing graphics of the property developments for sale to both local and international buyers simultaneously.
“The device is portable and this makes it easier for developers to showcase their developments to prospective international and local property buyers and investors anytime anywhere,” said Chmiel.
Also speaking at the launch was Mah Sing Group’s, Chief Operating Officer, Sales & Marketing (High End), Teh Heng Chong, who said “We are constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas to reach out to customers, and we are proud to be the first developer in Malaysia to utilise the iProperty Goggles to showcase the best that Mah Sing has to offer in our products. It is exciting that we can now help our customers visualise our projects better and enhance their experience in exploring our innovative features and designs. By leveraging on this new device we are able to use it anywhere, which is beneficial to both potential customers and Mah Sing as our properties will now be visually “mobile”. We believe this will also reach out to more people, especially the younger crowd of consumers who are always interested in new and innovative marketing gadgets and platforms,”
He added that two of Mah Sing’s projects, D’sara Sentral at Sungai Buloh and M City at Jalan Ampang were the first two projects to feature the use of the iProperty Goggles at the Home & Property Investment Fair.
“We are definitely looking forward for the public to experience these two projects through the eyes of the iProperty Goggles. D’sara Sentral is an integrated development comprising lifestyle retail shops, SoVo and four blocks of Serviced Residences. A key feature of D’sara Sentral is that it is located directly opposite the Kampung Sungai Buloh MRT Station, with a covered walkway linking the development to the MRT Station. M City at Jalan Ampang is yet another prestigious project of ours, strategically located on Embassy Row and just 5km away from KLCC and opposite a proposed MRT Station. M City comprise of a retail podium, SoHos, Serviced Residences and Sky Residences. What people can look forward to in this project is its award-winning multi thematic hanging gardens which will feature prominently in the façade of M City,” shared Teh.
The iProperty Goggles provides a virtual reality experience through specially created goggles worn by prospective buyers. Once worn, the device equipped with a mobile phone, will display visuals replicating the showroom enabling consumers to virtually walk through the showroom.
Chmiel elaborated that the iProperty Goggles app was created by the team internally and is only available for download by developers that purchase the product.
When asked how the app will be of benefit to property developers, Chmiel explained, “For property developers, the possibilities are limited only by their imagination. Besides painting a visually-rich world to woo investors and property buyers, developers are also able to walk these prospective buyers and investors through the show house via 3D floor plans, produce 3D flythrough videos or a virtual room-to-room site visit.
“Property developers can now take advantage of this powerful platform to deliver a rich experience to their target audiences and save costs on their marketing activities and showroom renovations. They are also able to use the app as a platform to not just lure local investors but also international investors,” shared Chmiel.
