Trulia has unveiled the #TruliHome marketing campaign. The new campaign’s creative highlights the ease in which consumers can find their homes, and the sometimes quirky things people do when they truly feel at home.
To kick-off the #TruliHome campaign, Trulia created online videos to bring to life some of the unusual things homebuyers and renters look for as they search for their perfect home.
In addition to the videos, Trulia has partnered with popular YouTube personalities such as The Kloons, Hannah Hart, Mr. Kate, Mishka the Talking Husky, and Poppin’ John, each bringing their own unique twists to what it feels like to be #TruliHome. These videos can be viewed on the #TruliHome microsite.
As part of the campaign, Trulia also partnered with Whisper, an online community where millions of people share real thoughts and feelings anonymously, to unveil some of the strange and often shocking things people do in the comfort of their own home.
According to Whisper data, dancing is a popular pastime when home alone. Whisper data highlights that consumers living in Nebraska are 125% more likely to participate in a solitary dance-a-thon than people living in Washington state, which placed second. Rounding out the top 5 states with confessions of home-alone-dancers are Rhode Island, Indiana, and Arkansas. Whisper data also found that many Americans dare to bare it all while home alone. According to Whisper, people from New Jersey are much more likely to be nude in their homes than in any other state. In fact, they are 142% more likely to be in the buff while home alone than the other top states, which include Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
