Zameen, the leading property portal in Pakistan, has partnered with Pakistan’s top real estate developer, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), to organize a property festival for families in Lahore.
DHA is backed by the Pakistan Army and has projects in the country’s major cities of Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar, with many more currently under development in other cities such as Bahawalpur, Gujranwala and Multan. This is the first time the developer will organize such an event in collaboration with a private organization.
The event, titled DHA Lahore Property Festival 2015 and to be held on August 29 & 30, will be the first of its kind, offering a family-friendly environment complete with a children’s play area and food stalls from restaurants and food chains alongside the top real estate firms operating in DHA Lahore.
“Exploring uncharted waters has always been one of our strengths here at Zameen.com and I am proud to say that with the DHA Lahore Property Festival 2015, we have once again managed to pull off something that has never been done before,” said Zameen.com Co-CEO Imran Ali Khan.
“Property expos are usually highly focused events that revolve entirely around the real estate business and don’t offer much by way of entertainment, so this festival is going to break the clutter nicely by offering families a chance to explore their real estate options together in a fun, stress-free environment,” he added.
With interest in the event reaching fever pitch 2 days out, Zameen.com has announced the restaurants and food outlets that will set up their stalls at the festival, which include top global names such as Dominos as well as local favorites Peri-Peri, Maro Tandoor, Chinese Express, Norouz, Lemon Peel and others.
