‘Australia Lives Here’, a new web series launching on Sunday 6 September, is set to give everyday Australians a glimpse into the properties of some of their favourite celebrities, sports stars, actors, chefs, musicians and personalities.
Pegged as the ultimate open for inspection, the web series, to be hosted by presenter and stylist Jules Sebastian, will travel across the country to give viewers an intimate look inside the beautiful, inspiring and sometimes quirky homes of high-profile Australians.
Kicking off the series will be a ‘fly on the wall’ look at AFL glamour couple Nadia and Jimmy Bartel’s newly built home in Geelong, Victoria which features an incredible outdoor entertaining area complete with fire pit and lap pool.
In the months to come, realestate.com.au will drop into the very special homes of some of Australia’s most well-known and loved personalities to see how they live and what it is about these properties that makes them ‘home’.
Along the way, viewers will see the favourite rooms and personal decorating styles of high profile Australians, and hear what they’ve learnt about the property game. Viewers will also get to know the neighbourhoods they live in as well as some of their favourite local hangouts.
Jules says, “I’ve always had a love of real estate and a keen interest in the way homes are styled. Someone’s home, and how they live, tells you so much about them. Personally, being in the throes of project managing the build of our family home, I have a whole new appreciation for the stories behind a property!”
“So much blood, sweat and tears go into creating your home. I’m sure I’ll hear some inspiring, and no doubt crazy, stories along the way and I look forward to sharing these with Australia.”
The series has been created by realestate.com.au, Australia’s No 1 property site, and will be hosted at realestate.com.au/blog. Tracey Fellows, CEO of REA Group, parent company of realestate.com.au, says, “We all know Australians love property and celebrities are no exception – they have some fascinating property stories to share.
“‘Australia Lives Here’ has been designed to inspire and entertain. No matter where you are in your own property journey - buying, renting, investing, renovating or simply dreaming big – the series will fuel your passion by giving you an all access look at how some of our favourite Australians live.”
