Pakistan’s Zameen.com has launched a full-scale TV campaign on the country’s major TV channels featuring two 40-second commercials focusing on buying and renting in the Pakistani market. This campaign marks the first time a Pakistani property website has gone above the line as part of its marketing strategy.
The ads have been developed by some of the top names in the country’s advertising industry and feature high production quality along with a very engaging copy.
Zameen.com Co-CEO Imran Ali Khan said the portal’s aim with the campaign was to introduce its brand to a countrywide audience of property hunters. “With a smart buying strategy that is pervasive yet economical, we’ve made sure that the ads are featured on key channels and in the right time slots so we can reach as much of our target audience as possible,” said Khan.
The ads also contain functional elements that will attract and guide new users on how to use the website to search for property in Pakistan.
“Although Zameen.com is already Pakistan’s most popular property portal, this campaign will allow us to reach out to a vast number of new users around the country, expand our reach, and build our brand further,” he added. “Simultaneously, it will work to educate Pakistan’s relatively young market about the infinite range of possibilities available in the online space, broadening the spectrum and introducing new opportunities.”
Along with the TV commercials, the campaign also features a multitude of radio spots on various popular English and Urdu channels.
Zameen.com was also in the news recently when it announced it had secured a $9 million investment from three top international funds, as well as welcoming on board global property portal authorities Simon Baker, Roland Tripard and Per Brilioth. It currently boasts over 2.1 million monthly visits and more than 1.5 million property listings.
