ListHub has entered into an agreement with the Real Estate Board of New York, REBNY, and its REBNY Listing Service, the RLS, to provide the RLS' over 13,000 residential participants (affiliated with more than 550 residential brokerages) with new options for syndicating and promoting listings through ListHub's network of over 85 national, regional, and affiliate publisher websites, and access to a global network of international publisher websites.
Through this agreement, RLS brokers will have the option to distribute their listings directly from the RLS to the ListHub Global network, which includes leading international real estate websites in China (Fang.com) and the United Kingdom (RightMove.com), and more than 80 other sites in more than 50 countries. Additionally, the RLS' participants will gain access to ListHub's tools to manage their online marketing, route consumer inquiries, and access marketing performance reports. The RLS currently distributes 20,000 residential sales and rental listings in all five boroughs of the City of New York: Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island.
Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the fourth largest real estate firm in the United States and a leading real estate brokerage firm in New York City, already uses ListHub to market its listings in Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, Colorado, California, and Florida.
"Now with the addition of REBNY's RLS to the ListHub network, we can provide agents in our home city of New York with the same advantages including online marketing exposure, reporting tools and global advertising," said Stephen Kotler, Douglas Elliman Real Estate's chief revenue officer and co-chair of REBNY's RLS Board of Directors.
"This announcement is an important step in REBNY Listing Service's continuing transition into a national standards listing database. The addition of ListHub, along with the launch of Internet Data Exchange (IDX), the introduction of data syndication and other initiatives underway, will offer our members access to the most technologically advanced products available," said John H. Banks, III, REBNY President. "I want to thank ListHub for making this partnership a reality that will elevate REBNY's services for our members and their customers."
"We are pleased to be expanding our service in New York City, one of the most vital markets in the country," said Celeste Starchild, senior vice president, professional software at Move and general manager of ListHub. "It is particularly exciting to have the opportunity to work alongside REBNY and its RLS as they continue to increase the best in class data services they provide to brokers and consumers."
The agreement with REBNY follows a record year for ListHub, which in 2015 added 110 new MLSs and more than 10,000 brokerages. ListHub now serves more than 600 MLSs and 60,000 brokerage customers nationwide. Amid increasing demand for international real estate marketing services, ListHub's global network also continues to grow, with recent agreements with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona Properties; Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties; Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties; Compass; Engel & Volkers North America; and Valore Group Real Estate – a division of The Keyes Company.
