Rentals United, a Barcelona-based company aiming to secure maximum reach and exposure for its online vacation rental platform clients, has acquired a further five further property management systems (PMS).
The company describes itself as a "channel manager for vacation rentals". It utilises cloud-based software to distribute availability, pricing, property information and photos in real-time onto 40 channels, both niche and large.
Established in 2013 by the founders of leading vacation rental agencies, Rentals United is currently expanding its operations on all five continents.
CEO Mathias Steyskal says Rentals United is a way for property suppliers to sell more nights via multiple online sales portals whilst managing bookings and prices in your own property management system.
"When a booking is made, availability is updated by us everywhere at once. When suppliers change nightly prices, those prices change everywhere at once too," Steyskal says.
Steyskal says Rentals United has recently added Elina, VRBookings, Bookerator, Rentability and Klik.villas to its existing nine property management system partners to help vacation rental owners and managers generate more bookings,
“As the vacation rental industry matures, services to property providers are joining forces to create more sales while reducing manual work,” Steyskal says.
“As the most advanced channel manager for vacation rentals, Rentals United secured a second round of angel investment in 2015 and is now rapidly increasing the number of connections, both with property management systems and distribution channels like Booking.com.”
Steyskal says its new partners will allow vacation rental providers to seamlessly distribute their inventory via the Rentals United channel network which comprises vacation rental websites such as the HomeAway family of sites.
“The network also includes hotel reservation websites like Booking.com, Agoda, Hostelworld and and Wholesalers like Tourico Holidays,” he says.
“A recent survey by Rentals United shows property managers and owners using the platform save time, about 20 hours per month on average, and make 5-50 more bookings depending on the size of their portfolio.”
Elina Managing Director Christopher Lovold, one of Rental United’s latest partners points out it’s a complex world out there for clients.
“They want to find the best way to manage and market their properties, keep up and ahead of changes across the marketplace, technology, consumer behaviours,” Lovold says.
“Our goal is to help remove some of this complexity and we find the team at Rentals United share that goal.”
He says Elina PMS improves the operations, profitability and overall guest experience at Serviced Apartments, Vacation Rentals, Hotels and Resorts around the world.
VRBookings CEO Dalton Noland, also a new partner, describes his company’s system as “not just a PMS but a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system” with the possibility to fully manage owners, properties, renters, agents, portals.
“With Bookerator PMS you can get your own website or a white label portal,” Noland says. “One of its main service offerings is an easy channel management solution."
Rentability Managing Director Thanasis Athanasopoulos explains Rentals United connects Rentability-PMS users with the most important sales channels and returns significant bookings instantly into Rentability-PMS.
Fifth new partner Klik.villas Managing Director Marc Ribail adds his platform is specifically designed for villa managers and agencies who need a comprehensive rental management system.
“Klik decided to partner with the most advanced villa rental distribution solution on the market to complete our all-in-one solution required by villa rental managers and agencies,” he says.
“You manage your business with Klik and your distribution with Rentals United.”
