Madrid-based online publishing company Vocento has reported a combined audience growth of 57 per cent, a result significantly supported its by real estate classifieds brand Pisos.com.
Pisos.com tripled its audience over last year, with a growth rate of double the sector average. The company says Pisos.com now has 700,000 unique users, “while its competitors are experiencing decline”.
Vocento says it’s the only media company whose specialist classified advertising portals in Automotive, Employment and Real Estate are in the leading positions in each category.
The company's job classifieds site Infoempleo.com has over 1 million unique users, and is “maintaining its commitment to training related to the job searches by users and its support for freelancers and SMEs in a very competitive fight for online leadership of the sector”.
Hoymotor, which includes all Vocento's automotive portals recorded a growth rate of 92 per cent over the course of the last year, compared to the sector average of 34 per cent with over 600,000 unique users in June, according to the Nielsen NetView audience panel.
Overall, the group posted a 24.4 percent increase in classifieds revenue in 2015.
According to Nielsen Netview, Vocento had 9.3 million unique users in June 2015, boasting double the growth of the local sector which averages 27 per cent.
“This makes Vocento the fastest growing media company on the Internet,” the company asserts.
Vocento says its rapid growth is based on the strong performance of its three business areas: news and information portals, thematic portals and classified advertising (automotive, employment and real estate).
It also cites its continuous commitment to innovation and the leadership of its brands in their respective areas of influence.
Vocento adds its twelve local portals have just completed an ambitious process of redesign, with a significant improvement in the presentation of content and a technological roll-out focused on audiovisual information, user participation and the consolidation of communities, making them leaders in the areas they operate.
