UK real estate software and technology company the Property Software Group has launched My Property File, a new product to make it easier to manage a tenancy.
My Property File will be offered as an app aimed mainly at tenants, a web portal and included as a service at no extra cost for agents with software subscriptions.
It enables tenants to message their agent about property related issues and download important documents so they always know where they stand and what's happening on their tenancy. Agents need to invite tenants to access the information using a specially set up account.
Property Software Group CEO Mark Goddard, quoted in a Property Industry Eye report says the ongoing shift in the UK towards renting means slicker tools to aid complicated and labour-intensive processes are vital for all the company's clients.
“This service will be fully online and integrated into the agent’s current software systems, meaning an instant real-time feed of essential data is shared between all parties. The service will also be mobile accessible, via a web portal and mobile app," Goddard tells Property Industry Eye.
My Property File is currently live in Jupix, its brand of origin and will start to roll out across all Jupix users very shortly. The Property Software Group aims to have the functionality available to all its users within the next six months.
Along with Jupix, Property Software Group brands include Alto, CFP, Vebra, Encore and MoveIT.
