Property Portal Watch Bangkok Sponsor APIMO says France's first real estate union SNPI, which has more than 9,600 members, is one of two new major clients the company will provide with its real estate CRM software services.
APIMO says the second latest client to sign on the dotted line is Trans’actif, the private housing subsidiary of French Railway Group, SNCF.
CEO and founder Nicolas Guillaud de Saint-Ferréol says the proud achievement shows his company’s ability to equip a small neighborhood agency or to manage the property portfolio of a multinational company equally efficiently.
APIMO offers its proprietary cloud-based CRM software to key customers in real state and entertainment industries all across Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
Through its online agency Apiwork™ Software Editor, which creates the Web 2.0-technology and its website, APIMO offers a package of software and online services to a daily community of 4,000 real estate agents.
“Apimo meets the needs of customers in a wide range of real estate domains, such as the regular sale, vacation rental, new properties, offices and the institutional market. In different markets, we supply the major real estate agencies thanks to our product’s ease of use and the quality of service for the final customer,” Guillaud says.
“Recently we were able to activate over 5,000 customer accounts in just a few hours. As part of our technical platform, we also worked on another project involving a unique model enabling the integration of the comprehensive data of our customers and access in record time.”
Since the company’s launch in 2006, when Guillaud says, the market was not ready for cloud technology, APIMO has steadily grown.
“With a little education we were able to demonstrate that it was more effective on a daily basis and that risks are low,” he says. “The evolution of real estate portals has also changed the mode of consumption: the multitude of leads treated forced us to rethink the relationship of our clients with the end customers.”
Currently outside of France, APIMO gains a new market every six months. Nicolas Guillaud says this is thanks to partnerships found at the Property Portal Watch Conferences.
“We value partnerships with portals rather than acquisition. Our technology is unique and acquiring a business would lead to huge integration constraints,” he says.
“We are accomplishing our dream and willing to make APIMO the first global player in real estate software. This strategy leaves the door open to a multiplicity of services on which we work.”
Nicolas Guillaud was always passionate about real estate technology. As a student 16 years ago, he developed web software to manage the trading activities of real estate agencies and then offered them his services.
“It was the first time real estate agencies worked together on a common file hosted on a Cloud,” Guillaud recalls.
“Afterwards, I worked for a important French group in the implementation of a CRM strategy. However I always wanted to create my own business, so I went back to my real estate project and created the apimo™ software.”
In the beginning, Guillaud says the company had private investors but now, with a former Seloger.com director on the team, APIMO is in a phase of international expansion.
“We offer APIMO as a package with the CRM software, a website and other inter-agency collaborative services," he says.
“Our greatest success is the multilingual aspect of the product in an increasingly international market. We have other projects underway that will simplify an agent’s daily life, but we remain discreet on the subject,” he adds.
