French real estate site Logic-Immo.com has decided to offer single monthly listings for smaller agents rather than obligating them to buy a package of ten listings with a twelve-month commitment.
The Spir Communication-owned portal, which now registers 13 million hits per month, has launched a new advertising option allowing agents to pay either 29 or 59€ to display one or three ads for a month, without obligation.
The company says it is currently targeting agents with fewer than 10 listings who are not advertising using its standard web package to propose the fresh approach.
The 'piecemeal' new advertising initiative allows each agent to choose a few clicks and a phone Cell Broadcast (CB) to distribute either one or three ads for a month.
"It's simple and hassle free, adding value for for the time-poor agent," says Logic-Immo.com marketing product manager Stephanie Dubos.
"The real estate agent chooses between two options, either 29€ for one ad or 59€ for three ads. The ads appear like any other. Visibility is unaffected," Dubos says.
"In fact, in some ways the offer exceeds the benefits of the conventional web pack as it allows professionals to multicast their ads and those of their partners across all media including web and mobile.
"After a month, the ad is simply removed," she says
Dubos adds the initiative is part of Logic-Immo's strategy to expand its services for real estate agents by reaching those with a turnover of fewer than 10 properties in their portfolio.
"Agencies with a limited number of real estate ads online are generally not Logic-Immo.com clients," she says.
"They don't subscribe to the kind of web advertising package offered on a site like ours because it wouldn't be profitable. The communication costs would be enormous.
"This offer is not just directed to small agencies but also to those just starting up, or whose activity is temporarily slower than usual. Our market research shows there are many such businesses that will be interested."
