Restly's latest software service Retsly Connect gives brokers and agents in participating multi listing services (MLSs) the option of using the front-end software of their choice to manage their listings and data.
The Zillow-owned company, which collects and streamlines real estate data, says its new service enables developers to create front-end software that brokers can use in conjunction with the listings management software provided by their MLS.
When an MLS integrates with Retsly Connect, brokers and agents can choose from a variety of software interfaces to search for and work with MLS information.
The feature is similar to Zillow Group's Tech Connect program, which allows technology companies to build applications and services and connect them directly with Zillow Group via an application program interface (API).
There is no cost to the MLS to offer Retsly Connect.
Two leading software providers that have created feature-rich, user-friendly software for use with Retsly Connect are Rappatoni and Stratus Data Systems.
"Brokers have a variety of needs when using a listing search and reporting solution," says Zillow Group chief industry development officer Errol Samuelson.
"That's where Retsly Connect comes in. Retsly Connect enables brokers to choose the software solution that best suits their needs, and MLSs can provide brokers with the flexibility to achieve differentiation in their market."
Retsly® collects and standardizes real estate data from multiple listing services and county records data from more than 3,000 counties so developers can build data-driven products for the real estate industry.
The company also provides MLSs with the tools to manage software applications in their market and ensure their content is being used appropriately.
