Australian property platform Domain has announced LJ Hooker Drummoyne Director & Licensee Shane Sullivan its second 2016 Rising Star Award Award winner, this time for New South Wales.
This follows the announcement of Hockingstuart Director and Senior Auctioneer Stasi Adgemis the Victorian recipient last week.
Shane Sullivan was recognised for his innovative use of technology and commitment to going above and beyond for his clients.
The 27-year-old, who got his start in real estate selling his neighbour’s house, is a director and licensee of LJ Hooker’s Drummoyne and Concord office.
In his short career, Sullivan has already shown standout leadership qualities, with a simple mantra: honour what I do.
“I genuinely get a kick out of helping people,” he says. “I don’t think most agents are aware of how much trust people place in us to help them maximise their biggest asset. I don’t take that lightly or for granted.”
Since taking the reigns of LJ Hooker Drummoyne at age 26, Sullivan has continued to build strong networks and grow his business through a commitment to delivering a superior client experience.
Specifically, Sullivan has taken a progressive approach using video to engage buyers in new ways.
Breaking away from traditional walkthroughs for listings, Sullivan produces interview-style videos with agents providing honest, unscripted commentary on the key features and benefits of a property and how it compares to others in the market.
This approach has enabled Sullivan to significantly grow his network and increase qualified leads.
Domain CEO Antony Catalano says Sullivan’s dedication to delivering a superior experience to his clients and leveraging technology in new ways to make the buying process for house hunters easier makes him a fitting winner of this year’s Domain Rising Star Award.
Raine & Horne Concord Associate, Licensed Real Estate Agent and Auctioneer Dib Chidiac and Elders Real Estate Penrith Licensed Real Estate Agent and Auctioneer Kristy Syaranamual were also highly commended for their innovation approach to marketing.
The winners were announced at an award event on Friday in Sydney.
