Following a strong month in May, the team at Rent.com.au has been working hard to gain increasing media exposure.
"A key component of the strategy to drive traffic to our website is for us to be known and visible to the agent and landlord industry we operate in and among our key target market - renters," says CEO Mark Woschnak.
Woschnak says the portal's efforts in this area are being rewarded with rent.com.au gaining increasing media exposure in June in mainstream media like The Australian and other key industry publications such as Finance News Network and Property Observer.
"We are continuing to provide interesting and thought-provoking data and commentary, drawing on our expertise and access to information in this sector," Woschnak says.
"Our 'Renter Survey' for example, is starting to establish us as a key ‘voice for renters’ in the marketplace and will help establish us as the go-to thought leaders for media commentary.
In addition, the company's involvement in various industry conferences, such as the Property Portal Conference in Bankok, is also building its industry profile and raising awareness of its service offering among key property and media decision-makers.
Woschnak points to Rent.com.au's June Operations Update, released last week which highlighted the results of the company's focus on achieving its content and user experience objectives, ahead of the company's upcoming commercialisation phase.
