Chinese real estate portal Fang.com has hired Jian Liu as its new president and promoted Zhihong Zhang to Chief Operating Officer.
Liu joined Fang in 2000 and most recently served as the Company's Chief Operating Officer starting 2007.
Prior to that, he was president of various business divisions, including new homes and financial services. Liu also held the position of Chief Information Officer for the Company from 2004 to 2006.
He has extensive experience in business operations and management and holds a bachelor's degree from Ningbo University.
Zhang, who has been the company's senior vice president since April, was promoted to the position of COO and will be in charge of the optimization of finance and operations.
She has also served as Fang's financial director, vice president of the resale group and vice president of the sales department of the Company. She holds an MBA degree from China Foreign Economic and Trade University.
"Both Mr Jian Liu and Ms Zhihong Zhang have been with the company for more than 16 years," says Fang Chairman and CEO Vincent Mo.
"They have extensive experience in different positions with the company, as well as deep understanding of the industry," Mo says.
"I believe it is the right time to further strengthen our core management team as Fang is quickly expanding its E-Commerce business and gaining market share across China.
"I look forward to working closely with Mr Liu and Ms Zhang to drive transformation and lift the company to the next level."
