Greg Bader has been appointed as the new CEO of Australian rental property website rent.com.au as the company posted its year-end financial results.
Bader has more than 20 years’ experience in the information and communication technology industry and was most recently a key member of iiNet’s executive team, serving as Chief Technology Officer from 2003 to 2012.
Bader said he was thrilled to be joining the rent.com.au team.
“There is a genuine opportunity to make a difference because renting is a real and practical choice for a growing number of people,” he said.
“If we can make the process a little easier, more rewarding and a little more enjoyable, then that is a big win in my book and I am delighted the Board has agreed to provide me with the opportunity to do so.”
Rent.com.au Limited posted revenue of $748,000, up 118 percent from last year according to its recently released finances for the year to June 30.
It also reports growing rent.com.au’s average monthly unique visitor audience to 651,000 a year-on-year increase of 157 percent.
The company also lays claim to more than 90 percent of the market share of all agent residential rental listings.
