Pakistan-based job portal Rozze.pk is working to protect job seekers from fraud by making companies obtain a verification badge that will be displayed on any job ad they post.
CEO and Founder of Rozee Monis Rehman wants to prevent users from falling victim to job scammers, a problem that sees people lose thousands of dollars every year.
“ROZEE.PK takes verification of all employers that post jobs on our site very seriously,” he said in a statement.
“Some employers do not provide their complete information including CNIC or government issued identification and therefore our support team is not able to verify their identity. These employers are listed on ROZEE.PK as “Unverified”. Discretion should be used when applying to jobs of unverified employers.”
All the authenticated employers and jobs will appear with a green “Verified” sign while others will be listed in yellow “Unverified” badge.
The move has been praised as mutually beneficial for companies and job seekers. a Green Badge will instill confidence in job seekers and it will attract more quality candidates.
