Dynamics and LinkedIn Sales Navigator will be syncing their information daily, making LinkedIn’s system up-to-date with the activity from Microsoft’s CRM and vice versa, making it possible for users with both systems to view information from LinkedIn profiles inside the lead of Dynamics 365 Sales.
Microsoft unveiled Dynamics 365 back in 2016 as a suite of business apps which handle institutional processes like sales, inventory management and human resources. The company also launched Dynamics 365 for Talent, to help companies handle their workforces, and Dynamics 365 for Retail to manage commerce operations.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is loaded with features intended to assist with selling, like being able to get automatic lead recommendations from LinkedIn's data and sending promotional messages to users via LinkedIn. Its consolidation with Dynamics 365 for Sales will make more sense for those using Sales Navigator to buy Microsoft’s CRM and the other way around. This is an important step for Microsoft which is attempting to appeal to companies also evaluating other options from Salesforce, Oracle and others.
Microsoft is also rolling out its lightweight CRM system, Outlook Customer Manager to people worldwide who work for small business and subscribe to Office 365 Business Premium. Customer Manager integrates with Microsoft Outlook on PCs, iOS devices and the web.
