AmericanChecked Inc., a nationally accredited, Native/woman-owned company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has entered into an exclusive deal with Merydyan Technologies, a premier provider of applicant tracking systems (ATS). The union should provide the most powerful structure for hiring, enabling on-boarding and background screening, tailored specifically for the States' tribal gaming commissions and tribal entities. According to AmericanChecked, this is the first and only platform of its kind that can boast tribal ownership by both providers.
"I could not be more excited about this partnership," said Julie Hakman, president and CEO of AmericanChecked. "We are both native-owned companies dedicated to providing the best solutions for tribal organizations. It was a natural partnership as both AmericanChecked and Merydyan have customer service-based cultures and strive for excellence at all levels. We understand that there is no such thing as 'one-size-fits-all' and both of our platforms are extremely nimble, providing custom solutions at every level."
By integrating with AmericanChecked, Merydyan is able to offer everything a tribal gaming commission needs in one seamless platform, including onboarding, background screening, fingerprinting, employment verification and employee and vendor licensing verification.
"Our Merydyan Pryme system was built specifically with tribal organizations and gaming commissions in mind," said Dennis Sheldon, president of Merydyan Technologies. "All aspects of functionality have been molded by feedback from an advisory council that is comprised of industry leaders and daily users of ATS. Coupled with AmericanChecked's deep roots and experience in serving Indian country, our combined services are truly tribal built and Native-focused."
In addition to the ATS and background screening components, the system is also integrated directly with TribalTRAC, the employee and vendor licensing and verification software developed by AmericanChecked. When launched in 2014, TribalTRAC became an industry game changer by being the only paperless solution for tribal gaming licensing and verification, eliminating the need for unsecure faxing and ensuring that all pieces of information are complete prior to sending the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) for final approval.
By including TribalTRAC in the integration, everything that tribal gaming commissioners need for efficient information gathering and fast approval is right at their fingertips.
"We've received overwhelming rave reviews from everyone who has seen a demo of our services working together as one," Hakman said. "Not only is the interface user-friendly and customizable to each client, but it makes the entire process more secure."
Sheldon added, "Our system and integration is highly intuitive and that's really resonated with the gaming commissions. We've been able to automate processes that would take up a lot of valuable time while still keeping the human element intact."
