Ladders, Inc., a leading professional careers site, recently announced it is the fastest-growing U.S. job site according to the latest data from comScore. Traffic to the site is up more than 77 percent based on comScore data from January to May of 2017, looking at all U.S. career sites with over 1 million unique visitors. Despite claims from Glassdoor, which called itself the fastest growing site based on a custom competitive set, Ladders growth is nearly triple its closest competitor and far above all other sites, whose traffic was in single digit growth percentages or on the decline.
"The launch of Ladders News in April, along with our third generation Ladders Resume product, and our new Referral Hiring program, have led to a tremendous increase in interest and engagement at Ladders," said Marc Cenedella, Ladders founder and CEO. "We're very proud of the work we've produced this year, and proud that we are the fastest-growing career site in the nation through May."
Overseen by editorial director Ryan Sager and editor-in-chief Heidi N. Moore, Ladders News provides news, analysis, and commentary across a wide range of work, career, and management-related topics, from office culture and gender issues, to interview and job advancement skills, to productivity, technology, and breaking news events. From practical tips readers can glean from news headlines, Fortune 500 CEOs or celebrities to apply to their own jobs to Ladders 101, the most influential people in the world of work, varied stories on the way work shapes our world have helped fuel strong engagement for the company.
"We think it's unfortunate that Glassdoor is inaccurately claiming to be the fastest-growing careers site according to comScore, based on data that failed to include all sites in the market," continued Cenedella.
