Adani, an Indian multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Gujarat, India, has rolled out its newest tool to enable job seekers in finding employment at its proposed Carmichael coal mine, in Queensland, Australia.
After taking a short questionnaire, job seekers wishing to work at the 'mega-mine' can register on Adani's job portal free of charge, immediately giving them access to thousands of currently available jobs, as well as future openings via notifications by email.
The new jobs portal should act as a resource for sub-contractors, employees and suppliers for the $16b Carmichael coal mine.
Adani Australia Head of Country and Chief Executive, Jeyakumar Janakaraj, said the $16.5 billion Carmichael project in Central Queensland would generate 10,000 direct and indirect jobs.
“Adani promised that regional Queenslanders would benefit from our project – and here’s the proof that we honour our promises and we care about regional Queenslanders,” stated Janakaraj.
