SaveOnFees, a new online platform that allows home sellers to find their perfect agent and compare commission rates, has been launched in the US.
The California company’s new free-of-charge web and mobile app-based service allows sellers to complete an online process within 60 seconds. They will then receive customised proposals from full service real estate agents.
Consumers can then compare agent information, proposals and commission rates which the company says will reduce the amount of time and effort required to find the best-fit real estate agent and minimise their costs.
“We are disrupting the way home selling has been done for decades,” said Benoit Briere, co-founder and CEO of SaveOnFees.
“By creating a true marketplace where qualified real estate agents compete for the opportunity to sell a home, SaveOnFees takes the uncertainty out of commission fees and finding the perfect agent.”
SaveOnFees will work with national brokerages as well as boutique agencies to provide maximum choice for sellers.
“The value to real estate agents is also clear,” said Briere. “SaveOnFees gives agents access to motivated sellers quickly and inexpensively.”
