Yangon-based property portal iMyanmarHouse.com is celebrating a year of growth and claims to deliver more leads to its advertisers than any other property site in the region by helping local agents and property developers grow their business.
According to a company press release, iMyanmarHouse generated 58% more leads to its advertisers in the first quarter of 2017, when compared to the same period in 2016.
The portal was founded in 2013 and has 2000 agencies and over 250 property developers registered on its site. Its services have recently extended to assist property developers with the transition of properties on the platform and to-date, they have assisted in the sales of 30 projects from Yangon, Mandalay, Pathein, Taunggyi and Ngwe Saung Beach.
Nay Min Thu, founder and Managing Director of iMyanmarHouse, said:
“As at April 2017, we achieved a new milestone by facilitating transactions totaling a GDV of $100 million for property developers - localisation has been the key to our platform’s success. The process of buying or selling a house is a personally significant investment, and it’s important to establish trust in the community which we have spent a lot of time doing. We are extremely excited to see the traction we’ve experienced, reaffirming our strategy in the market.”
iMyanmarHouse recently surveyed property agents who were advertising the same listing across various property sites in Myanmar and claims the results accurately demonstrated the portal's effectiveness with agents receiving more than three times as many leads from iMyanmarHouse.com versus other portals.
Min Thu says these results continue to motivate the business.
“We were extremely pleased with the results of the survey, and am proud that we are able to provide more leads to our advertisers than any other property site. The positive feedback we received from agents and developers further validates our commitment to being the leading online property site for consumers and the property industry.”
