The new CEO of one of Europe's largest taxi-hailing apps is Marc Berg.
He succeeds Andrew Pinnington as leader of mytaxi, a ride-hailing company based in Hamberg.
The move will come into effect from April 16 and comes after Mr Pinnington successfully merged Hailo, Clever Taxi and Beat.
Previously, Berg was CEO and DACH of Klarna Group, an online payment services company.
Stephan Unger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Daimler Financial Services Board Member said: “I am happy to have found an experienced strategist and digital executive in Marc.
“I am confident that Marc will further build on the enormous growth the company has seen over the past year and to further shape the organization to become a global player in the mobility space.
“At the same time, I sincerely thank Andrew for growing mytaxi into Europe’s largest ride-hailing app and for his leadership as we merged several acquisitions into the mytaxi family.”
The ride-hailing company currently services 70 cities in South America and Europe and has more than 120,000 registered drivers.
