One of the quickest growing and highly regarded on-demand recreational automobile and adventures shopping exchange, Outdoorsy, recently disclosed the hiring of a new CFO, Bob Bearden, and four brand new vice presidents from well known tech businesses. These new hires extend Outdoorsy's management team while taking in experience covering marketing, operations, and expansion as they push into more global markets.
The appointments coincide with Outdoorsy's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region following the highly successful rollout in Canada late last year.
Bob Bearden, Chief Financial Officer
Bearden brings more than 20 years' large-scale, consumer marketplace experience, both private and public, as a former finance chief of Expedia and Hotels.com and CFO at Travelocity and most recently, uShip. In his role as Outdoorsy CFO, Bob Bearden will oversee the company's rapid global expansion, as well as manage finance, risk, treasury, security and administration functions of the business.

Outdoorsy hopes to include France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom in the eventual international growth. They have already seen a 465% increase in just the past year, reserving over 350,000 days of travel which created over $150 million through their site. This platform already houses the biggest supply of campers, motor coaches, recreational vehicles, and travel trailers for reservation. Outdoorsy is ready for use in the United States, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand and they already give rentals for other outdoor accessories and has partnered up with the biggest recreational vehicle and tour agents on the planet.
