The Ship2B Foundation and the Banco Sabadell Foundation are promoting the second edition of the B-Value social innovation program. The initiative is aimed at non-profit entities throughout Spain that work with any type of group. The objective is that associations and foundations can professionalize their work and improve their value proposition. In addition, during the B-Value program, they will receive help from mentors and the network of program collaborators to develop social innovation projects within their scope of work.
The B-Value program consists of two phases. First, a committee composed of members of Ship2B and experts of the Scientific Committee will select a maximum of 40 entities. During the first months of 2018 they will participate in workshops with professionals, they can be trained in social innovation and learn about methodology and conceptualization of projects.
In the second phase, ten organizations will be selected so that they receive more personalized training and can examine their project with experts from various sectors (communication, business, financing) and possible collaborators.
For this second edition, B-Value will have two new strategic partners: AFTERSHARE, a strategic creative agency and PwC Foundation, the foundation of the international consulting firm. Both will participate with training and mentoring in the different phases of the program and will offer pro-bono prizes in the form of creative campaign and communication, on the part of AFTERSHARE, and strategic advice, with the help of Fundación PwC.
The finalist entities will present their projects in a Demo Day to be held in October 2018 where they will opt for financial aid and pro-bono advice on strategy and communication offered by the program's partners. All face-to-face training sessions and the final event will be held in Barcelona and Madrid.
All entities interested in participating in the B-Value program may send their candidacy until December 17th. The conditions can be consulted in the call bases.
