QuickBooks launched StaffKeep.com in their app store recently. This app will help small businesses simplify and secure their employee onboarding process. It allows any employer using the QuickBooks Online Payroll to invite employees to fill out their paperwork online through the app.
Employees fill out a secure profile at StaffKeep.com before their first day of work. Then they complete and sign their onboarding forms digitally, including Department of Homeland Security I-9 and IRS W-4 forms.
Founder of StaffKeep, Jason Richelson, stated, “One of my biggest headaches as a small business owner was getting new employees set up in payroll and then turned on in all my cloud-based software apps. I created StaffKeep to automate that process and make it more secure."
Furthermore, business owners can instantly store accounts on all their cloud-based software tools from one dashboard. That means emails and productivity tools with Microsoft Office 365 and Google G Suite as well as Slack, HipChat, Dropbox, and more can be accessible to the new employees in an instant.
StaffKeep is the first HR app in the QuickBooks App Store to securely capture payroll information directly from the employee and add that employee to QuickBooks. Businesses can get rid of manually entering personal information from paper with StaffKeep.
Digitizing the onboarding process, StaffKeep optimizes the process when employees leave, as well. The business owners can turn off access to all the company's cloud-based tools, saving money and increasing the security of the company's data.
