It's no surprise, but sometimes spending is a little easier on a company credit card, especially when expensive dinners and nice hotels are an option for thousands of workers - and while several startups have popped up in an attempt to combat the issue through extra rewards for spending less (such as gift cards and bonuses), the most well-funded is now TripActions, which has recently announced a successful $51 million in additional capital.
The funding round was spearheaded by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Zeev Ventures, their contributions add to the sizable $27 million previously raised.
“We think the solution that is out there is not good enough,” Ariel Cohen, CEO of TripActions said and placed importance on their platform's comprehensive plan that includes hotels, flights, vehicles, and other transportation.
