In an attempt to prepare developers for the Android Developer Certification, Google has partnered with LinkedIn to provide almost 20 ADC classes through the famous job placement website.
The partnership between Google and LinkedIn is designed to advertise LinkedIn’s remote learning system, as well as bring more developers into the Android ecosystem. Demand for developers with experience working with Android has gone up approximately 33 percent in the past three years, according to LinkedIn. The site also claims that Android Developers can earn a median salary of $85,000.
Candidates applying to Android-related development positions are often expected to have a form of Android Developer Certification on their resume.
