Indian Naval Placement Agency (INPA) and online job portal Monster.com has entered an exclusive partnership to help follow-up career pursuits of retired Navy veterans.
Both groups have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the goal of Monster listing more than 1,000 jobs for the talent in the first year in India, the Middle East, and South East Asia with the goal of increasing this number to 2,000 opportunities by 2020, Monster.com said in their release.
The partnership will focus on identifying opportunities in sectors such as capital goods, IT, security, ITeS and MSMEs for the uniquely-skilled talent pool of INPA.
"We aim to assist retired Navy veterans with customised job opportunities in accordance with their skill set. Moreover, Monster India will regularly provide the candidates with job fairs, interview etiquette tips, career recommendations and actively tagging job seekers on its various platforms," said Abhijeet Mukherjee, CEO, Monster.com (APAC & Middle East).
"Our association with Monster India is to further strengthen the support INPA provides to the Navy veterans to identify second career opportunities," said Vivek Karnavat, Principal Director Ex-Servicemen Affairs.
