The West Virginia Community and Technical College System (WVCTCS) has joined with WorkAmerica to help connect state employment opportunities to students.
WVCTCS officials say the hope of the partnership is to "give community college students and graduates a foothold into jobs in their career fields right here in the Mountain State."
WorkAmerica hosts an artificial intelligence-powered online platform to aid students and alumni in the quest to find employment. Using the AI, users can receive relevant job offers, and link students to local apprenticeships and internships prior to graduating while WorkAmerica collects information about what state employers are looking for, so education can meet those needs going forward.
